Genotyping U+ Probe Master Mix
Category:
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Product Overview
This product is a dedicated kit for genotyping that combines competitive allele-specific amplification with a fluorescent reporting system. It includes two allele-specific forward primers, one universal allele-specific reverse primer, and two detection probes labeled with different fluorescent dyes. By analyzing the terminal fluorescence signals, the kit enables precise biallelic genotyping of SNPs and specific InDels in the vast majority of genomic DNA samples. The product offers high flexibility, low assay costs, and is well suited for high-throughput sample screening, such as in plant breeding and pharmacogenomics research. In addition, the kit incorporates a dUTP/UDG-based contamination-prevention system that functions at room temperature, effectively eliminating the impact of amplicon contamination on qPCR and ensuring the accuracy of results.

Storage and Transportation Conditions
Store protected from light at -15°C to -30°C; transport at ≤0°C.
Scope of Application
This reagent is used for the amplification and quantification of DNA samples.
Precautions
1. To prevent enzyme activity from declining, this product should be avoided from repeated freeze-thaw cycles. If only small amounts are used each time, it is recommended to aliquot the product into smaller portions for use.
2. Allow the reagents to equilibrate to room temperature, and invert the Master Mix container several times before use to ensure thorough mixing. Do not vortex the Master Mix to avoid bubble formation, which could compromise quantification results. After mixing and a brief centrifugation, the Master Mix is ready for use.
3. As this product contains a fluorescently labeled probe and ROX reference dye, it must be stored away from light, and strong light exposure should be minimized during the preparation of the reaction mixture.
4. Instrument Selection: Choose a microplate reader or a real-time fluorescence PCR instrument capable of detecting FAM, HEX, and ROX fluorescence. When selecting the Genotyping U+ ProbeMaster Mix, refer to the model of your qPCR instrument to choose the corresponding ROX concentration reagent that is compatible with it.
